- Breakout Game was again developed and released by Atari, Inc in 1976 on the 13th of May. The concept credit of this arcade game goes to Steve Bristow & Nolan Bushnell. It is based upon and influenced by Pong that was launched in 1972. Pong is also a product of Atari. Breakout Game was sent to numerous consoles and upgraded version kept being launched. Super Breakout Game is one such example. Additionally, Breakout Game also became the inspiration and basis of numerous things such as film, video games, books and even the Apple 2 PC.
