- This game is popular as Gryzor on Oceania and Europe. Contra Game was launched way back in 1987 and it is an action packed, thrilling game. The credit for developing and publishing contra goes to Konami. It was originally only an arcade game that was coin-operated when it was launched on February 20, 1987. In 1988, especially for the Nintendo Entertainment System, a home version of Contra Game was launched. This home version had ports that connected it to different computer formats which included the MSX2. The home versions were limited to PAL region as Gryzor and Probotector on NES that was released after a long time.
Contra Game: In Contra Game, you play as one of two military commandos, Mad Dog or Scorpion. Your mission to neutralize a terrorist group that are planning to take over Earth. You must reach the end of the level without getting killed.
