R TYPE
- R-type is a very popular side scrolling shoot-em-up arcade game that is a product of Irem. This was developed in 1987. There is a space fighter called R-9a Arrowhead whose controls are in the players hands. This fighter has to deal with powerful aliens named Bydo to protect humanity. It was later found out that Bydo is not actually alien. R-Type is a classic shooter game of the 1980s.
